Lake Batur is a volcanic crater. A very beautiful scenery with Mount Batur as a backdrop, but less famous for visitor. It is a very exotic place especially Trunyan which can be reached by boat across this lake. But less and less people visit this place because of rumors of local people attitude. I haven't experienced it myself but as a visitor, I myself won't like it if those rumors happened with me. Therefore, I decided not to go to Trunyan, and probably other visitor also think the same. But I spent a few days in a cottage by the Lake to avoid the crowds of Kuta on late December 2008. I was glad I did so, that though in December mostly raining, I got two very clear days while I was stayed there. The cottage itself is nice but just a basic one, and I together with a friend are the only occupant there. The next pictures with the same title are the pictures I took on my stay in Batur.

After Stumbu Hill hunting session, make sure you stop by along the way if you visit the temple. You will also presented with a superb view from the rice field by the street with Borobudur temple as a backdrop

This is the typical view of Borobudur Temple in the morning from Stumbu Hill. Since this spot found by a local photographer, there has been many photographer visit this spot, local and international, to capture this amazing view.

As I have mentioned in my previous picture, we can't take a shot of this fall in full unless we use a superwide lens. But I guess we still can play with it if we decide to get closer. Here is my example

Sipiso-piso falls reside in Situnggaling village in Merek Subdistrick in Karo. This falls heights is about 40 m, enabled people to get underneath the falls as the water after reach the bottom is not so heavy. Taking picture of this falls is rather tricky because of the situation. Lights direction in the morning comes from the right side of the picture but was blocked by the hill and creates a big shadow. Also the heights of the falls make us unable to capture it in full unless we use a superwide lens.

Taken in Tongging Village in Lake Toba. Lately, in villages around lake Toba, people put their fish trap in the lake to growth fish and then sell it. Despite that it can help them with their economic problem, this fish farm make the Lake Toba water contaminated. Once there was a plaque with their fish, and all the places were stink with the dead fish smell

Compare to class condition in the city, this class looks not comfortable enough to study, but in the village, this school is one of the best.

This photo taken by Martapura River in Banjarmasin, South Borneo. Though river lives almost hard to find in Banjarmasin as the population growing up very fast, but still lots of local people using river as their source of water, for bathing, doing dishes and laundry. Also for as a toilet. It's usual to see some people using the toilet while the rest doing laundry underneath.

The small island is Tulas Island. It's only not Toba Island in Lake Toba but also there are some small island as well though none of them are livable. Only Pulo Tao, a small island in Simandindo that by goverment built a museum that not really well maintain so it's abandoned.

Taken in Magelang after a photo hunting from Stumbu hill, I saw this sun rays bursting from the trees so I asked my driver to stop and wait for a person to walk in as a point of interest. Lucky enough, that lady walked in. Major crop done as there are lots of foliage in the FG and rather harsh on top because of the expossure of the light source.

This is the view of Ngadisari, the village where most of the accomodation to stay when you visit Bromo reside. Taken from Pananjakan around 6.00 am when the sun just arose in the East. Towards the right is Mt. Bromo where the savana still covered by the mist.
